I am fitting a front mounted oil cooler, along with GT style GRP front bumper and lower valence with the opening to allow airflow.
Much as I'm sure Mittelmotor's parts are fabulous quality and (maybe?) period correct, I am not shelling out $675 plus shipping to buy a part like this from them (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) Oil cooler grill at Mittelmotor (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/uploads_offsite/i13.photobucket.com-19057-1480157000.1.png) So I'm starting this thread as I'd love to know the different the approaches folks have taken - both DIY and off the shelf solutions - to filling the opening and protecting the cooler from flying road debris.
