Hi everyone and hope you have Merry Xmas and festive season while I'm on line.
75, 2.0 FI. Nearly a year trying to get this right so we spent a full day on it today. We have spark at the plugs on all four cylinders. We have compression (125) on all four cylinders. We have pulse at all the injectors. However, when we pull either plug #1 or #3 the engine doesn't notice it-no change in revs. The plugs in 1 and 3 are still totally clean and look like there has been no fuel. We know there is spark. The plugs in 2 and 4 appear to be showing signs of running rich. We have checked for air leaks with smoke, no leaks. Given that the problem is not one side or the other but 1 +3 and 2 + 4 I thought this meant it was a trigger point issue. Is it feasible to pull an injector, still connected and see if fuel squirts out? Just wonder if anyone here has had similar issues. Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/headbang.gif) |
