Wasser Boxer guy but picked this up a few months ago. Purchased by my father brand new in 1973 from Neufeld Porsche in San Carlos CA. Had it in his hanger, but he sold his plane and needed to "get rid of it." So I got it for free. 1973 2.0 with the appearance group. Prolly a few hundred thousand miles, but rebuild engine with euro spec parts. No rust, Cali car. Original with MFI. Needs a good going through, with new rubber, brakes, engine drop and go through. Interior is nearly perfect, since driver's seat has one small hole. I have the original radio. Only stupid thing is my brother installed a clifford alarm and there are a bunch of wires that have been cut and spiced.
Paint is the worst issue, not too bad, but with minor fender benders, the localized respray doesn't match too well. Any suggestions? Love this forum and will be referring to it on a regular basis. Attached image(s) |
