We had our first AX this past weekend and I was surprised how well my 35 yr old 914 did compared to the more modern cars. We had 46 drivers of which 7 were novice.
I run DSP in my SCCA region, my car is a 70 with a 74 2.0L with euro P&C, adjustable konis, stock front sway bar, and 205 50 15 falkens. The TTOD of the day was 67.298 by a 74 /6 conversion, my best time was 74.804 but if you look at the raw times HERE for everyone else I was within a few seconds either way of most modern cars. Maybe this isn't a shock to anyone else but I'm impressed with my little 95hp 914.
