Hi Guys,
My '74's steering was far from 914-like, so I got a rebuilt rack from Mark and the gang at 914 Rubber...and turbo tie rods from Elephant Racing. Here's the install video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MnuYLbZ89y8 One note...when you re-install the rack, it's important that you get the splined shaft lined up properly in the universal joint before you bolt the rack into the auxiliary support. As always, if I've done anything dangerous or bone-headed, please let me know so I can revise the video. Hope you enjoy. Cause there's nothing better than a tight rack (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif). Ian |
