I'm assuming I need a completely new clutch. Something is definitely broken. I heard it snap 2 days after WCC. I haven't driven the car since... and I'm really itching to do so.
My dilemma is... I don't know if I should embark on this project alone, since I have limited time/space and the housing association frowns sternly on working on cars. This could be a problem if I were to start the project and run into complications. So, I thought I might as well have the clutch job done by a "professional." Any idea how much a clutch job runs for a 914? I would definitely like to upgrade to the 911 clutch, as I understand this is preferred. I welcome any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks, Carlos |
