I also relocated the battery from the rear trunk to the engine compartment. Made a bracket from steel strip 1 1/2" wide and mounted the battery to the engine shelf passenger side next to the firewall. Last year I had to tear out the orginal battery tray and repair the hell hole. When I did I just made the shelf straight across to the inner fender well. Got plenty of power to roll engine over easily either hot or cold. I 'll get pics tonight so hang on OK? |
