In the Ford forum I also frequent, a couple of the die-hard drag racers have been sectioning heads up to show the wall thicknesses and shapes of valve passages pre and post porting.
Has anyone done something similiar for 914 2.0 heads? Got photos? If not, I've got a brand spankin new metal cutting blade in my 18" bandsaw and would love to take this one on. Anyone else interested in the photos? I'm mainly interested in understanding the thermal paths in the head, and opportunities that may reveal themselves. (Looking for a ruined and not salvageable 2.0 914 head) Thanks Brian |
