I built the lightest 914 in the history of mankind.

Due to the full flow pump, the oil filter needs to be relocated. So I wanted to keep it close to the engine but easy to get to. So after much thought and trail fits, I decided on this. (see pic) To get it on and off I unbolt aluminum mounting bracket from the angle that is welded to the tubing. I can than spin the filter on/off without spilling a drop of that very $$$ Royal Purple racing oil. BTW, the tube is supporting the inner suspension ear.
