ok I am most likely going to do a front mounted tank. The big one... Here are are my questions...

Can I run AN-16 lines all around?

What thermostat should I run?

What inline oil filter should I run

What would be the running oil capacity? Assuming I am running a PMS style front mount tank...

How often do u have to change the oil when you have "that" much oil...lol?

I have seen a lot of guys mounting there inline oil filter in the front of the car, for instance Joe's 914 RS....Doesnt changing the oil and filter make a nasty mess of the front trunk? Why not mount the filter on the firewall, on the bottom directly underneath the fuse panel? So as to not create a mess? Is there some advantage to having it in the front? Other than the everything in one place mentality...

Stupid question...what method do people use to drain their oil, esp. when using a front tank? I have no clue as to whether or not 911 motors have drain plugs? Or do u just disconnect the lowest oil line possible?

Later down the road when I have more money, I intend to do some kind of purty front mount oil cooler setup, but right now, I just want to get the car driveable, as soon as I can, after getting home of course....just doing my research...BTW: I should be out of Iraq in less than a month... PS: Do any racing bodies have anything against oil lines being ran through the interior of the car? Thinking of a possible alternative to save money by making my lines shorter...
