We have a 1983 Honda Civic that our sons use (and probably abuse).
Recently fifth gear (manual transmission) quit working. Now when you shift into fifth it's just like being in neutral. I checked the engine oil level and topped it up a bit (about a half quart low). I saw no filler or dipstick on the transmission so I sorta think the engine and transmission probably share the same oil supply. Any ideas what the cause might be?
