I've been helping a freind with body work on his 62 Beetle. Cali car, but he wanted to un-do some of the custom work that had been by the P.O. The car had the handles shaved, (bashed in and filled (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/mad.gif) ) and one peice door glass, (hacked out the vent window frames (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/confused24.gif) ) We've gone through all the extra local doors we have, but don't have a good passenger door.
Any of you guy 's have a beetle stash? The last doors he purchased came from Washington. Sprung hinges, bent skin, cracked mounting rivets.... (IMG:http://www.914world.com/bbs2/html/emoticons/WTF.gif) This is a very good friend of mine. a favor to him is a favor to me. I'll owe you one. |
