My bumpers are straight, but are going to need to be re-chromed...especially the rear which has a break in the chrome. Someone either put a later bumper on the front (I have a '71 BTW) or they had the front drilled and added the bumperettes. I do not like them and want to remove them. So the question is do I simply have the shop fill the holes prior to rechroming the bumper, or do I look for a replacement and just sell/trade the one I have? What's the market like for a later year bumpers? I don't want to ruin something that someone else might be able to use.
