I've got a 1.7 here for a customer, and we are re-sealing the engine, painting the tins, and a few other as long as'es including new vacuum lines and intake boots. The ones on the engine were definately 2.0's (loose fitting and probably sucking a little air), and all I've got are new 2.0's which are larger.
I haven't touched a injected 1.7 engine in years. VW lists the 1.7 intake runner boot as NLA. Has anyone found a good replacement? Thanks! |
