I have a 914 with a msd ignition and a 1967 2.0l 911 engine. Fired up and ran fine. I drove it for about 15 minutes and when i came to a stop it just died. Fortunally i was close to home and home was down hill so I just coasted it home.
The battery shows 11.7 volts. When I turn the key to the run position i can hear the fuel pump and the battery drops to about 10.2v. When I turn it to the start position I do not even get a click. I get nothing and the battery drops to about 6v. Any ideas? |
