I got what I thought was a good deal on a set of rear Koni struts for my 914.
They finally showed up and I tore everything down and the one strut is pretty much toast. No damping at all. The other has good damping throughout the range but it locks up solid every 4 or 5 cycles through its motion. Now I have to decide if I should rebuild them. Does anyone have any experience with that? Is it worth the money or should I just spend a little more and buy a new set? I don't track the car. Just fast road work once and a while. Thanks, Chris |
