I purchased my 914 off ebay and was told by the seller that the engine was "probably" a Van engine. Likely a 1.7L. Well for the past month I've been trying to track down the engine code when finally today I did get it.
GC003400 I looked up and it's listed as a 2000cc engine that comes with the 75/76 914s. Now I've got a '76 porsche that was built in late '75. I was under the impression that all '76 models came with a fuel injected engine. I also thought they all came with the center console but mine came with neither. Can anyone clear this up? |
