Surface rust around jack points; no other rust on longs
Original battery tray w/some surface rust; no rust in hell hole
Original sail panel vinyl with no surface rust/bubbles
Rear trunk floor some surface rust recently sandblasted/primed
Original valences front/rear
Original rocker panels; passenger rocker rust repaired; driver rocker has some rust
Cabin Floors in great shape
3 inch of surface rust around driver side bottom of windshield
Original rear fenders flared with hammer & dolly to fit 8 inch rims
Some surface rust around front body panel behind front bumper (was replaced at one time)
Chrome bumpers: front 73+ (bumperette holes), rear pre-73 (no bumperette holes)
Paint 6 of 10; Front hood repaint doesn’t match well
Driver door has a few scrapes from PO Jersey barrier rub

Rear trunk key/actuator deleted by inside cable release

HISTORY

The only history of the car I could find that it was owned for many years by a gentleman in CT. Racer Chris did some work for him including the time he hit a Jersey barrier with the left rear corner and he replaced the trailing arm and brake caliper. In April 2002 Chris did the PPI for a 914 board member. At that time the car ran well, had good compression on all cylinders and needed no rust repair at all. I bought the car in March 2006.

At some time in the past the car was hit on the drivers front. The inner wheel well was creased and the front panel behind the bumper was replaced. The hood was repainted at this time.
