Saw another 914 at the shop where mine was and checked it out. The vin is a '72, but it has a 2.0 engine and the correct emblem on the rear. WTF???? I always thought that the 2.0 didn't come in 914's until '73. I don't think that it was transplanted. Didn't check what tranny it had. Just wondered it anyone else has seen a '72 (factory) 2.0.
BTW-it is for sale...project car....no serious rust that I saw.....see wanted/FS 914 in classified.... |
