Need a little help for a neighbor who has a 911T and rarely drives it. Batteries need to be replaced. What would be a good replacement for two (2) Interstate 50's with CCA 300. Dims are 7 x 8 x 7

I've looked pretty extensively before, and interstate may just be the last convenient source for 911 dual batteries. And they're NOT cheap anymore.

Ive got sealed gel sonnenschien, think thats how its spelled, in mine.
I think 6-7 yrs ago the were 150 apiece. They need to be replaced for this upcoming season and I hope to use againas I want a sealed battery. Jule |

Thanks for the tips. The local Interstate distributer is getting a shippment in a week, I'm on the waiting list... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
The owner of the 911T doesn't drive it enough to keep it properly charged. I'm thinking a battry maintainer would solve this; however, I'm not sure how to wire it up to the dual battery set up. Any suggestions will be appreciated. |

Putting a maintainer on a dual battery set up should be no different than a single battery set up.
As they are permanently wired in parallel, just attach it to one of the batteries and you are charging both. Have fun and we had to go with the Interstates in order to keep it original looking. Eric |
