Huh.. my US version doesn't say LILA

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

Sorry, too funny ... "Lila" is the German word for purple.

I think Gustl was trying to point out the color of the stripe and not some additional lettering.

I even speak some German and had no clue on that. I thought there was some fine print or something!

I'd like to point out that it wasn't a Canadian that suggested sending beer to Europe. We know better than that.
Cheers

Hey Upstate NY is like South Canada. I may live in Florida now, but you Canucks will always have a special place in my heart.

Gustl, Did you get enough positive reponses? I rec'd one as a gift a few weeks ago and understand it was purchased at a local supermarket. If you still need a couple or even one I will go there and get it for you.

As I'm told, this Matchbox Porsche 914 on the picture is especially for the Canadien market.
I pointed out the "specialities" to make it easy to identify:

Would anybody of our Canadien members be so kind to get me one (ore more - up to four would be fine) ??
Of course I would pay for the expences !!

I'd be very happy to add this one to my collection ...

Just send me PM or Mail

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

I have some, in both of the car colours. I would be happy to share. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It is in the mail.....10 days should see a new home.

Hope it's something that's cool for your collection. US Postal talked me into shipping this in a big padded envelope to save almost half on shipping. If it doesn't make it I will ship another in a box, my cost.

Wolfgang and all other model collectors,

You may already be aware of these vendors, but if not you can find various 914 models on these two sites. Do a search for Porsche 914 and you should find several models.

These are resin and metal collector kits so if you are not familiar with these you may be surprised with the price. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) But as we know, 914's are not really cheap! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
