It was not for nothing that Porsche came up with the "sport" muffler.

Phase 9s, megaphones, & whatnot are for those needing top end power and willing to give up low/mid range: racers.....oh, & wannabes.

I'm personally not fond of the raspy sound the "sport" produce, but it is distinctive.

On a street 911 I used to have, I tried Bursch, then a 2in/2out sport, and then went back to stock. I preferred the stock banana on my prior street 914 too.

OK, here's mine. '75 with a 2.7RS fed by 40mm Webers. Exhaust is factory /6 headers (no heat) with a Monty stainless 2 in-1 out. I absolutely LOVE the sound...

Way to loud IMO for the street. Driving to fast in a residential neighborhood. The fact that he may be a police officer makes it all the worst. You don't drive like that on residential streets. Take it up on the freeway for that crap. Please.
