Thanks Gint for the gracious offer... should be a good time. I'm not sure yet about the rest of the trip. They may find me curled up under a pinball machine a week later! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

ANOTHER TEASE: There is even a 914 in one of the games........ (I took the 911 out and put it in there - you understand right - I mean nothing against 911's or their owners..) I am going to install a Red Lesney there this weekend. I might even try to wire in some LEDs for the fog lights and have them come on during the game.

I'm in for the Chicago get-together. I should have my car back from our favorite East Peorian by then.

I'll follow this thread as the 14-16th gets closer for the details.

As soon as you have something a little firm (down boy), let me know approximately when you think you might arrive and when you want to leave. The gang is already asking what time and what to bring, etc...

It's a party!

Are you driving through WI to get to Chicago?

Nooooo but, I've checked with the Daley administration and, for the night of the 14th or 15th they are allowing Cheeseheads across the border into the land of FIB. You must bring Brats and 5lbs of 8-year-old cheddar to appease the local alderman (I'll pretend to be the alderman for the evening... polishing up on my bribery, extortion, embezzlement and conspiracy skills). Please, no Schlitz in cans. The "alderman" doesn't care for Schlitz in cans.

I'm in for the Chicago get together. To meet up with you fellas I'll set aside my differences with the FIBs. I might even slap on some smell good and brush my tooth. If they can buy our land I can steal their women.

Things are beinging to solidify.

April 8th - Lunch - Grand Junction - Evening - Party at Gints.
April 9th - Lunch - Salina - Cozy Burger - Evening - ***JUST ADDED*** Des Moines (anyone here?)
April 10th - Lunch - St. Paul (need to confirm location) - Evening - Duluth (need to confirm)
April 13th - Lunch at the Border? (need to confirm)
April 14th - Travel to Chicago (need to confirm 14th or 15th for a dinner)
April 16th - Travel to Cheyenne (need to confirm dinner location)

Couple of things:

Mike M. Thinking 12:30ish for lunch at Cozy's in Salina. Wonder if we can ask Buttercup to join us? Would love to meet Mary and see the Buttercup.

Rick O. Care to join us for lunch in SP/MN and then caravan back up to the homeland?

O'Canada. Any update fron Canadian Homeland Security? Will this be allowed?

Chicago. I'm leaning toward a dinner night of the 14th. Gino's East? Open to suggestions? Portillo's on Ontario (combos and dogs?)

Cheyenne. Let's pick a dinner location.

I was just thinking about your trip this morning. Good looking schedule - I am glad you are driving it though...

I am in - you will love Cozy Burger in Salina! Leave the loin cloths in Brighton - I think they are illegal in Kansas...

I will check with Mary and see if she can make the trip to Salina in Buttercup or even trailer it in! Last I heard Buttercup was running great - it likes the warmer weather.

Cheers!

Pains me to say but I won't be able to. April is a huge month work-wise for me and Sarnia would be an all day event. Depending on traffic 4-5 hours each way.

Besides, satellite photos show the RCMP already have a kind of duck blind set up at the border. Dave (Balljoint) said if I can't make it he'd try and film the takedown for me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

If I book soon, I can have the day off. It is only a 4 hour round trip, not including the visit. there is a Wendy's at 1142 London Road, Sarnia, ON.
I'll try and contact other guys directly to see if any want to come.

Admins, may I suggest a 24 hour banishment to the sandbox for this abomination.

Bad Michael. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Can Eric get a lap dance at Wendy's?

Wow. Sounds like somebody needs a nap, Dave.

Oh, and what is a "24 banishment"? Is that from that new language you told me you are working on?

Damn. I never make mistakes.

Oh and Eric just PM'd me for more details about "Wendy's". I'm not sure I want to be a witness to this.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif) Are the Wendy's in the States different? I thought they were all like this.

In that case you'd better not take him to a Subway

As long as they haven't messed around with the signage down there. Best fast food sign out there IMHO.

Any preferences? I mean we could pick up some roadkill just about anywhere, but I figure you'll want to sit to eat and not be concerned about dodging traffic for a meal. Mike

All Wendy's claim to be hot and juicy.. think it's the way the burgers are prepared that vary.

Just talked to Sandy. It's very possible we can meet in the metro for lunch. We talked about coming down Saturday night and staying at the Ramada by the Mall of America. It is classis Rat Pack decor. http://www.ramadamoa.com/

We could mee for lunch with some of the metro guys and head north.

I'll call Kelly Manely and Bill Bertho. They don't surf the forum much. The rest of the metro guys still hang here.

I sent a pm about the rest.
