Does any one have any ideas on what the aftermarket wheel options are for a narrow body 914 that has has been converted to a 5 lug setup.
I am looking for inexpensive 15" wheels to use for a period of time after i convert to 5lug until i make a decision on flares.

I have looked for 15x6 cookie cutters, just wondering what the other options are?
Does any one have a source for steel wheels ?

anything that will fit the 911 series up through the SC, were 15x6 and 15x7 rears. most SC cars had the optional 16s

I thought that 15x7's wouldn't fit the rear of the 914

15x7's will fit with 205's if your lucky.

You could always put them on the fronts, they should fit without much problem.

I am running 16x7's all around on my narrow bodied v8. Also 215/45's on those 16x7 fuchs. The rear quarters are rolled but they fit fine. 205's should be no problem on the 15x7 cookies. May be a little tight in back but is doable. The lower profile the better for that I think

Jonathan has a set of 15x7 phonedials at GPR that he'd let go of cheap. They'll need to be refinished.

Thanks for the info, I have a set of 15x7 fuchs not sure of the offset, I'll try and see if they fit.
I guess there aren't any aftermarket wheels that are offered in the a 15x7 with a 5x130 lug.

I think there are tons of 5 lug aftermarket wheels on the market.
Pick up an excellence magazine...loads of ads in the back for wheels.
Hot Vws also has alot of aftermarket stuff for 5 lug..and it will fit.

The vw crowd likes the 5 lug setup...so there are certainly alot of wheels to choose from and they are not bad.

I purchased my wheels from Intro. They are not cheap but they will do almost any wheel in 5x130 and will do different widths, and powercoating. I looked for 6 months for wheels and other than other porsche wheels, very few custom wheels will come 5x130 except HRE.

Looks like you also have some 24x10s that don't rub at all, outside stock fenders. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
