The moment you take your car out of the garage people can *see* the color.
It's *visible*. In fact, they *want* it to be visible.

The damn thing is fricking puke green. so next time it's out in the open, someone please take a better picture and have your local paint shop match it to sample.

Then paint your car the same color, take a picture of it and send it to Singer so they can share it with their client. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/shades.gif)

Quick to respond, but not willing to share the info!

Sean,
I appreciate your enthusiasm for our commissions, unfortunately, I am unable to provide that information as we keep these color codes and samples confidential and reserved only for clients who go through our restoration process only.
Our complete restoration services on the 964 based Porsche 911 Coupe or Targa (1989-1994) start at $475,000.

DaFaq kind of answer is that? Secret color codes, because confidential?
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) just a bunch of cheap car hacks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif) ,seriously I don't think they use any stock Porsche colours, think they have there own colour chart for customers.
However neat colour would be nice to see a 914 in that shade.

I actually liked the Sooner 911's due to price and being all steel.

When I worked at salliemae, we couldn't disclose how the loans were considered. All we could say was it is a proprietary formula. It pissed people off but it was the company's secret sauce. It didn't have to make sense, it just was.

That is apples and oranges ...

That color is not my cup of tea, but it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to find in an auto paint book.

Why should they give away the formula that they most likely have spent many hours experimenting and spraying test panels to find the "right" mix for? Sure once its revealed for the first time its possible to reverse engineer it and get something very close but that never makes it exactly the same. I dont think they want people claiming to have "Singer spec colours" on cars that dont come close to their extremely high standard of doing things.

If you like the colour just bring as many pictures as you can to a paint shop and let them mix up a formula you like...

Maybe it's me but a flared, racy type of car needs to be non-metallic. Metallic paint just softens the car too much.

Mine is a similar, although non-metallic color. It is Porsche color 3939 Olive.
