Andy,

The size is very long so I think what you would need is a Smooth Brown Hardboard Wall Panel material and then have it made into a case. You can buy hinges and latches and leather handle. This would be somewhat like an oversize briefcase. Radius corners are harder to do but could be done. It could be upholstered in any material. Leather would be nice but not as waterproof as fake leather. Not ready for tomorrow but if you want , it can be built by a woodwork shop if you do not have a friend up there to help. If down in Inglewood I can help you with it. This would be like an Instrument case. Have you Cked guitar case size

I have an email into Anvil (Covina, CA) to see if they still make custom music cases.

If they do, that might be the way to go ...

That comes in various heights, including 6" so that would actually be the correct size!

Ah - contact Jim Turner at Encore/A&S Cases - https://encorecases.com - 818.768.8803

See what they can do. They do custom hard cases for me for broadcast gear.
Not sure about a leather exterior but if not, they do all sorts of custom colors but I bet they can do leather.

Odd size Andy. I read your dimensions and turned my head and saw this. Maybe a reworked or custom guitar or bass case. A little closer to your size. This is for a Gibson Firebird guitar, Thunderbird bass case is a little bigger.

Here's a bass case for sale. Gut out the inside and you have a pretty tough outside shell

Hi Andy -
Just an FYI, I know for a fact that Anvil will make you anything you want. I just went through the process with them in 2017, and it didn't take all that long.

Good luck!

Just FYI, Anvil got back to me and they quoted me $399 for a case made exactly to my specifications.

That's not bad at all ...
