I got to do yet another brake job on my wife's Jeep. And I picked up another set of Fuchs and some miscellaneous 914/6 parts.

...I also got some NFS PU time in while the board was down. My SC struts arrived for my 914. I put them on the other pile of 914 stuff I'm not going to touch for a long time. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I'm getting a plan together to make my 1969 Beetle roadworthy for this spring so I can finally start on the 914...maybe....If I have to. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

And I spent alot of time on www.thesamba.com looking through the classifieds for even more stuff I don't need. There is a few 914s out there as well.

Well I know one thing that I did not do and that was shovel snow.
CCL

Well I did shovel and plow a lot of snow. We had another 2 feet of it yesterday. I spent over 10 hours at it, but I can get my trailer in and out, and even make u-turns in the driveway. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I secretly prayed that it would not come back so I could get more done.

Timo, Your CF stuff looks good. The fan shroud looks just like the Roger Sheridan sells.

timo,

ditto to the questions about your bumper.. are you installing or manufacturing?
I need a front and would consider CF over glass.....

If your installing, then where did you purchase, and what did your pre-purchase research teach you?

Smart-Racing sells the little diffuser insert thingies that go inside the rotor.

I was advised also that AJ-USA will sell individual pieces of their brake cooling kit. I haven't called them yet though.

brant and seanery,

Thanks for interest. Yes, I have made those parts, but right now I am not going to make them for sale. Maybe later. I don“t have time now. Those I will install to my own 914. I will replace the old FG bumpers to the CF ones.

Getty Design sells all the parts you see in Carbon Fiber. You just have to ask for it.

I didnt want to say anything until after Timo answered.

Hmm, so is Navid's car all done? Is this a replacement to that doomed purple E36?

BTW, nice window net mount (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

During the down time, I've been trying to get the 914 started! arg!!! I'm gonna replace the spark plugs tomorow to see if that can solve things.

Terrance, Yes the white car is the replacement for the crashed purple car. The white car is what he won the Nasa 12hour enduro in Decmeber with. The bolt-in cage that was in the car was actually from the purple car! They had to porta-power the cage in to make it fit. It was "lot's" of fun to take out.
