I'll do my best to make it. The odds are 50/50 if I can get off from work.

I'm there! Time off is approved, rental beater arrangements will be made tomorrow. I'll be in town Saturday to drop wheels off at Al Reed's shop.

What are we doing Saturday night?

Lawrence: T-shirt is a done deal if Glenn has them available. Shoot me an email with your mailing address.

A Saturday night get together sounds great.

Who knows of a good spot? Where in relation to Riverside would everyone prefer?

That's too bad. I'll bring this battery tray and support and see if a NorCal guy shows up that can bring it up to you.

Gint,
SoCal isn't too Hooter's friendly. I was living in LA when the one in Santa Monica opened. It was like they put a sex & bondage club up next to a school. People really didn't like the idea. I didn't/don't get it. It's chicken wings and beer. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

OK, but it doesn't have to be Hooters. I guess SoCal 914 guys getting together for dinner and a few brews is blase. Or is it just me? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

No can do... I'll be visiting with other friends in the LA basin. But I'll be there for the swap, and if someone knows where to get some brews (and maybe some hooters? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) ) afterward, I'll be happy to go along!

Ugh, I may wind up leaving home at 6 AM on Friday as well! Logistics sometimes really suck...

I asked earlier in the thread and no one offered, so if y'all want to get together in Orange County we do have several options here.

Got my rental beater. Nice little Mazda 6. 4 banger, decent power, good mileage, cruise, OK stereo, auto-stick, trunk big enough to hold four Fuchs (3 with tires). 06:00 tomorrow I'm outa here.

Who's got some 914 garage action going Saturday afternoon? Lunch? Dinner? Beers? I don't live there, you're gonna have to help me out here.

sounds like we are going to the movies instead! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

O.k. Fudrucker's in Lake Forest has good burgers, ample parking and muscle cars.

Cook's Corner is on Santiago Canyon Rd. just north of Irvine, some twisties in the dark and Harley crowd (but we can take 'em)

Hooter's in Newport Beach/Balboa and a ton of cool hangouts from Seal Beach to Laguna Beach but earlier arrival for parking spots requiered cuz' everybody has a toy to show off!
Most happenings are Fri. nite or Sat. early a.m.

I'll call you tomorrow afternoon.

Almost forgot, gangsta' cruisin' on Bristol in Santa Ana (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif)
