I suggest a caravan. He only has 4 missiles and will have to switch to guns. He can't get us all! And we can zig and zag until he pukes in his lap! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif)

Ahhh....but you forget the Iraqi caravan coming out of Kuwait in 92 at the end of the 1st Gulf War - 100's of vehicles "all in a bunch" & neatly flamed!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ar15.gif)

Alrighty then! The dates have been announced. Who is in? Oh and be sure to bring cameras as you can pretty much shoot pics continuously and never get a bad picture... Unless Shea shows up. His wife picks out his clothes (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol-2.gif)

There are many great drives to and from the Tahoe area. You could head North on 89 and go to Susanville, very pretty cow country with winding roads. You can go East of Reno to the Reno-Fernley Raceway and do some lap time if you are licensed. The Mt Rose Hwy from Incline to Reno is quite fun, as well as 50 to 28 from S.lake to Incline. Great vistas and smooth turns should be had by all. Now I just need a 914 again.

Let's get those caravans set up guys! Only about 100 days until the 2010 WCR in Tahoe! Who's coming up? It would be great to see these three!

Not yet Jim but since we have let the autocross go, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how low they are. The hotel will be on your own and since there are a number of options within walking distance - even stumbling or carrying distance for "that guy", the registration will be lower than you might expect. Unless it is higher and then your perspective is skewed... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Lots of work going on in the background so watch for announcements and ask those questions or make suggestions. 100 days is actually Wednesday the 3rd so don't waste your garage time guys!

I am not sure if one of us is looking in to this. I will tell you what I know. The organization that we shadow (SVR-PCA) is Trackmasters. They have quit using Reno-Fernley due to a severe deterioration of the track surface...

Beyond that, I do not know if we are looking in to it. Keep in mind though that we are a virtual entity. We have to piggy-back on to another organization with the ability to buy insurance in order to do that. My only relationship in this regard is SVR-PCA and Trackmasters.

Sometimes you can work this out and sometimes you cannot. In Sonoma we piggy-backed with ESCA and had an autocross. Others have done other things but WE as 914World only virtually exist and this is a complication we can only sometimes work around.

I do know how hard it to secure track time/run group for a day.....helped Howard do it for our "WCC".
We were lucky having "Streets of Willow" available for us to rent......

Sounds like you guys are doing a great job! Thank You in advance for your time and effort! Should be a fun event....................Rob (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Just a quick poll - Generally speaking, what are people willing to pay for a room/night?

We were thinking more like $400/night...

Just kidding! We're finding some nice digs below $100. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

That $100/night range is probably going to be pretty close.
