QUOTE(Dr Evil @ Feb 4 2010, 08:00 PM) *

John and I are planing on taking the long east route down and hauling ass. Be warned.

I don't know about hauling ass, But for sure we will not be taking the most direct route.
The trip for me I think, will be more about the drive down and back, than the time spent hanging out in a parking lot. Anyone is welcome to drive down with us, Prolly leaving Wed morning and taking the better part of Wed and Thurs to get there. Cruising down thru eastern Oregon and into NV and CA
I can post a route at a later date.
I also don't gamble so casinos for me only mean people watching.

If anyone is interested in fishing let me know. I can put together groups of 6-8 and get a price for you. They do morning and afternoon trips that last from 3-7 hours...

Oh, and yes. This pic is of a Lake Tahoe Trout

Is there a fee for attending? Do we need to register?
The first post does not mention anything?
Thanks,
Jake

Event registration will be coming up. It will be low since we're probably only looking at a couple meals. But registration fees will be the next item we tackle.

Okay just booked for me & my wife. So sorry Mark I won't be splitting your room (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) . She is not the most sociable person. Her hearing isn't so good. Legally deaf without her hearing aids. With them she does okay but she's kind of gotten used to not being in to many conversations. So if you talk to her & please do. Please be aware she doesn't hear well. If she is not looking at you. She may not hear you & isn't ignoring you (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) . She is very excited to come (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) I can't wait myself.

The only debate will be between my LE or my v8 conversion. If I don't have my LE creamsicle finished & sold. Then I will probably drive it down. If I've got it sold I will bring my v8 conversion that I drve at last years (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Look close when you book online, John, there is a spot where they ask if you have a coupon or promotional code...put 10WINTER in there and make sure they added it before you check out.

Sweet! The wife gave the thumbs up on attending. Booking my room in a minute. I don't gamble either but I have to put a few bucks on the roulette table "00" baby! Last time I was in Vegas (2 years ago) I did and hit it with 25 bucks (odds are 35:1).

Booked! I'm pretty sure my car won't be complete, but I can ogle and maybe bring some pictures of my progress.

And Mark, I tried to give you the ThankYou points, but it would not let me "associate" that booking with your account...

Count me in! I booked Harveys for 3 nights for a total of $223.10
I hope it doesn't snow because chains wouldn't fit with these tires. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

It could snow. You could also be abducted by aliens and experimented on but I doubt either will happen. There will however be snow on the ground in areas that get little sunlight right down to the lake level... It will be cool at night and comfortable during the day. Fun will be had - even if we are all abducted by aliens... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
