Any clues into the schedule of events yet?

I'm at that distance where I could drive in from Reno... But would rather stay at the hotel for the right nights.

Thursday, bonus day, watch the arrivals (this is some of the best!)

Friday, Saturday.... Which will be activities near the hotel vs. away - like a drive/tour?

I know it's too early to expect a schedule yet, but just wanted to ask and see if there's anything sticking to a potential agenda yet.

Heck wit it, I just booked all three nights. Party at the lake! Woot!

Heads up - Room availability is likely to be changing... I was unable to book the cheaper room because they were sold out one of the nights. The good news is with the Expedia code I got the "Premium" for the price of the "Classic" direct.

Who else wants to ride the longest zipline in the continental US?! Been wanting to do that... Atop Heavenly, amazing lake views....

Heck yeah that looks kick butt. I bet my wife will even go on that. Guess I need to pack some warm clothes though huh.

I booked the Thursday, Friday, Saturday & am absolutely stoked to go. My wife is really looking forward to it too. She will either love it or never want to go again right (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Does anybody know if the rooms are still available?

I went to the Harvey's website and saw that the rooms are listed at 106.75 currently.

We're trying to line up someone to stay with the kids for several days for that weekend. Would really like to attend, and would be bringing my 'new' 914 for the event.

Regards,
Tom

Tom,

You can certainly book through Harvey's website, however if you book through Expedia.com, they are having a sale and it is cheaper...please read the first post for more info.

It looked like Expedia went up on their prices and I could not find where to imput the discount code 10winter. I booked directly through Harvey's website instead and under the play and stay tab on their home page booked Friday ($75) and Saturday ($97) under the 25% off and 2 for 1 improv for a total of $189.21 with taxes.

I am excited for Tahoe!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving-girl.gif)

Besides the fishing which no one seems interested in anyway, they have a comedy club in the hotel. We could probably get a group thing going if anyone is interested. Or, we could drink in the parking lot... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drunk.gif) Anyone want to do that???

I'd be up for a comedy club one night. Not to big on the fishing thing. I'd be up for some fun on the water if it wasn't so damn cold. Still I'm there to check out 914's & pretty much be around them. I'm not real sure how the hotel parking garage is going to be for hanging out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

I'm a 21 y/o, so it kinda goes without saying I'll be following the booze.

Sounds like a little interest in a group table at the comedy club... We can look into that.

There are other things to do on the lake as well Jamie, you and your wife may enjoy one of the excursions. The boat takes you around the lake to see the sights and tells you of the history. It gets you over to the castle everyone sees from the road on the
West side of the lake. When you find out the castle is actually a glorified outdoor patio it is kind of a hoot!

I like comedy. You can go see where they shot Bonanza. Other than drinking and gambling, is there any WCR planned events???

We're still working on the details (we've got three months). There will absolutely be some day drives, possible hot springs, etc, etc, etc. More details soon.

Awesome, Randy. I know things will be taken care of, particularly if you are involved. Hot springs are kick ass, but I wish we had more women folks and less old men for that trip (IMG:style_emoticons/default/poke.gif)
