Some of you have expressed interest in helping with the 914world Limo project by donating parts so here's your chance to help us out!
(IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

The Limo project is split into two phases, Phase one is to get her mechanically in good working order and roadworthy. Phase two is to make her look pretty.

Right now we're still lacking some of the basics to make this a running car, so if you have any of the parts listed below collecting dust in your garage, feel free to send them our way. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

All contributors will be officially acknowledged and will also receive steep discounts on future limo rentals! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

914Limo Parts needed: (List updated 10/20/2013 by SirAndy)
  • Long throttle cable (Terry Cable?)
  • Long clutch cable (Terry Cable?)
  • Front bumper
  • Front Targa Seal (crappy is fine)
  • Back half floor pan patch panel
  • Passenger side engine shelf patch panel

Shipping to:
Original Customs
19660 Eighth St. East
Sonoma, CA 95476

I've got a fuel tank for the cause. How soon do you need it? Maybe if there's someone heading to the Bay Area from the NW they could transport.

Cool project. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)

Ok, I'm traveling to Half Moon Bay soon. I would say within 30-45 days to pick up Sandy's new 914. I have two seats, maybe a back pad, center tray with pad and maybe both doors if they turn out to be ok rust wise. I can deliver these. I had already planned on visiting Marks shop on my way home. I'll check the parts tomorrow and post photos.

It is likely that you will find parts locally before I get out there though. So, lets see how it goes.

Been watching this project for a while....

I have a tired 1.7L sitting at my shop floor and will ask the owner if he wants to toss it over to me after installing the 2.0L in his car.... I should know probably at the end of this month...

Will that be okay to wait till then? Or you need it ASAP?

Your dry Cali doors trump my snow covered MN doors any day. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Andy, Let us know how your doing with parts collection. I leave for Half Moon Bay March 9th arriving around the 10-11th If you haven't located good Cal parts I can drag out my MN stuff then.

Heeltoe914 has doors So I will leave mine here. I have a set of seats that need reupholstry and good center pad and ok (I think.. ) back pad.

Oh! BTW: Paul (lotus_65) is half owner of these parts. So these are coming from both of us.

Let me know where to ship it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Man, I wish I had a spare 2.7/6 to build for this. Anyone have parts??? 2.7 parts seem to be prevalent and I bet we can assemble something if everyone pitched in (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif)
