This is a greatswap meet. Last year was the first time it was held at the Phoenix Club in Anaheim. Lots of classic Porsches, swap meet stuff, and vendors inside. Get there early; the line to get in wound around 3 or 4 blocks.
Edit: THE SHOW WILL GO ON IF IT RAINS-------- Attached image(s) |

That's what used to be the old Dunkel Brothers swap meet. I've been many times in the past and traveled 1000 miles to do it. If you're already in SoCal I highly recommend it. I might make a bonsai run out there myself. I'm on the hunt for a new job anyway and I have vacation to burn up or lose.
Isn't this real close to Route66? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) |

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Check with Bruce BDStone, here on this site. He just brought a rechromed fr bumper no bumperettes to my house today and it was very very nice ( I am picky choosy too) , great price, I have a 74 w/ bumperettes so I got another from him but the one your want is still available and he has a space reserved at the same above swap meet, let him know you would like to see it and he will bring it I am sure.. |

I had originally planned to hit the literature convention on Saturday and the swap meet on Sunday. But it all depends on when my new Eric Shea real brake calipers show up on my doorstep. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I need to install the new rear calipers and the Porterfield pads on all four calipers before I make to drive to LAX or to the swapmeet. Eric Read |

You'll love those Porterfield pads they're agressive yet not noisy...at least that's my experience with mine on the v8 914. |

So CA All Porsche Swap Meet March 7th, 2010! Almost missed this...in the "Events" threads Who's going? Is it worth the trip? One interesting vendor last year was selling retro radios. Some were modernized to work with XM, amp, etc. He would be inside with the Vendors |

Be a perfect place to sell it. Hey if you have so much free time Mark (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) . You should drive over to Route 66. I will be there & would be happy to ride in your car with you. As opposed to the damn PT cruise I am renting in Vegas to drive over to it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) |

Attention swap meeters! I would sincerely appreciate any one of you who would look for a 3 liter engine with a KNOWN history for me. Complete would be nice. I'm sure a financial token of my appreciation would magically appear in the hands of the tipster who points me towards a purchase ................

Do you think its worth dragging 3 complete running FI motors down (1.7, 1.8s)? Sell in neighborhood of 250 each.
