Hello,

I just finished my 75 2.0 and am entertaining the idea of driving it up from Southwest Florida, anyone else driving up from Florida?
I have put a 73 2.0 doner engine in her with 86K on it and am driving it as much as I can to see if it would be able to make the trip. If I was going up I would prefer to caravan. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks,

Vysoc

Come on up and stop & grab TC & Ury and all those other Florida sun bums & bring them with you. They will be so grateful they may even pay for your gas. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Man...I have really been thinking about going to this...it has been in the back of my head for the past few days just inching forward reminding about the tail of the dragon! I think it is my 914 concious in me telling me it wants to drive it.

Dude, you missed the ramble last year and I know you wanted to make it but your car wasn't ready. You have no good excuse this year and you will hate it if you miss out on this one.

Cool video. You might want to wash the blood off your windshield from the pedistrian you hit.

Wow, thirty seconds into that first video and my motion sickness was already kicking in. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon8.gif) I was beginning to think it might be fun to ride out with someone but that served as a reminder - no freakin' way.

These videos are great in 720p - I was leaning into the turns and had my foot planted on the floor (on the brakes....)!! These are better than any video game!

what you guys from the rest of the world miss out on is that us here in NC and eastern TN have lots of roads like this to drive. TOD is just the most famous (and unfortunately usually the most crowded). We go on drives up in the mountains fairly often that will make even the most hardened passenger a bit queasy. (I know, Nadine likes to drive too, so I spend 1/2 of any trip in the right seat!!) 2nd gear at most for 15+ miles.... You'll all really love the area...

Oh come on Chad, it will be well worth any sickness you may endure. Grab a ride with one of those okies & come on out.
