By my unofficial count, there are 32 or 33 914s and a couple 944s.

This does not count the Alien and anyone he could talk into driving down from up north.

What about the Atlanta area teeners? I only see a couple Georgia people signed up.

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Where are you seeing the number of cars, and where they're from?
Also, where did you get the color count a couple pages ago?

Maybe we should start another thread OR have a Poll thread to start getting a solid count. I believe everyone would like to know?

Maybe we can get a clean count in another thread....might be more confuson tho??

The only way to get a solid count is from Clay. He has all the registrations.

There are a few people I know coming that are not on 914world, so they would never respond to a poll or headcount. They sent in a registration, so Clay should know they are coming. ....And two of them are NOT on that list Clay posted.

I set it up so the registrations from the web site are copied to me in case anything happened on Clay's end. So, I have that info that I built my list from.
Then I added the ones from Clay's newest list that I did not have and then just now added anyone mentioning in this thread they had signed up.
Car colors and origin are from the registration entries.

HERE IS MY UNOFFICIAL LIST. If you see any errors, let me know. If you know of anyone attending who is not on this list, let me know. I will try to keep it updated as I receive new info.

I'll get with the guys that said they signed up and have them ping you and/or Clay.

Jay Park and Ken Park are one in the same so you can delete one of those. I am hoping to have 2 cars running in case somebody needs one. I am also working on a few other folks so I think the 40 cars is very achieveable. George, start washing your car! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/first.gif)

Thanks, Don. Ken PM'd me and I have edited the list.

I am hoping Ryan in Maryville will decide to sign up. There are a few other Knoxville area teeners. Will have to try to contact them and see if they are interested.

Yes, we met Ryan when we went up for the preruns. I believe he wants to attend but may not be finacially able. Hopefully things will work out for him though.

Donald,

Do you have a driver for your second car? If not, Donna are sans 914 this year (again) while our car is in the paint booth and getting a 5 lug conversion.

Well, the Evil one can't make it so he won't be needing it. It has been offered to one more so I still need to check with him. If I don't get this orange one running I might be needing it but I hope it is available for someone else to drive. I will let you know as soon as I hear from the other person. I still need to check with Mary also as the plan is to trailer it up on her trailer after she unloads Buttercup in Memphis.

Hold Your Horsepower. Regular updates are on the way. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Got a note from Betty today that this weekend is D Day for Clay's work project and he'll get registration and count updated and be on top of everything probably Tuesday.

Then he can keep everything up to date. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif)

okay folks, add one more 914 to get that number one closer to 40.
I think I just registered twice, and I'm sending check to Clay this weekend and will call the hotel tomorrow to reserve a room. I am trying to convince my brother to come up from Atlanta for the event.

George have you washed that 916 yet. It will be nice to see Steve G again!

BigDbass - meet Okyflier and me where 77 and 81 connect?

Looking forward to this drive!

I signed up today,
Reserved a room too.
Planning to drive from CT.
My brother Charley's house is right off I-81 about 2 1/2 hours northeast of Vonore. He said he wants to accompany me driving a Lotus Europa.

A Lotus Europa would be a welcome addition in my eyes. I used to have a '74 Twin Cam Special.

Hey guys, my sister owns a couple of chalets in Pigeon Forge. They would accomodate a LOT of you guys, and they are very nice/comfy. If anyone is interested, please PM me, and I will facilitate a discount. Pics and info can be found at the site below.

Thanks,
