Has anyone talked to the Grand Vista Hotel lately?

Just wondered what the discounted group rate is and if they still have rooms available.

I have been on the fence, but it looks like I may be able to attend. I should know for sure in the next day or two.

My 914-6 is still down due to Weber issues beyond my skills so I would be driving my Signal Orange 1973 914 2.0.

I made my reservation last week, there were about a dozen rooms remaining. Better register and reserve one!

I talked to my contact today. There were ten rooms still available. There breakfast is awesome! I'd love to get the remaining rooms booked then the hotel is all ours. She said we can do what we want as long as we don't tear anything up or cause her extra work!

Since it's not an official PCA event, he can't notify the whole region, but said he knows many people with 914s and would at least pass along the info to them.

that's not true...he can notify the entire region with whatever he wants, it doesn't have to be a PCA event.

Besides, technically it IS a PCA Sanctioned event. It's run by the PCA 914 Special Interest Group (SIG), it will have PCA Insurance (assuming someone contacted the local PCA region), we have to sign PCA waivers, and it's overseen by the PCA Region and Zone Rep (me).

I saw where you have listed me as registered and paid, but don't have my car listed. I plan to drive my 914. One minor problem though. I got a jury duty notice in the mail today for Thursday and Friday of that week. I'll call tomorrow and see if I can get it reschuled. JoeO

Just an update... Last call for T-shirts. I have to put in the order on Monday. So if you want one and didn't order one, let me know. We will order some extras, but I would not count on them being there or us having your size.
