Is there any sealant used on the washers and/or nuts that go on the lower head studs to prevent leakage? As I type this in my office, I can't recall if that is covered in Jake's video. I have Curil T and Curil K2 sealants.

Use Curil T in this location.

What are lower head nuts?
Should I be using this on my cylinder to case mating point? |

Thanks.
The lower head nuts are the nuts that secure the head to the case, the lower ones being the four that are under the valve cover. |

Fair enough. Do you use the curil on the upper, exposed ones too?
