hi NJ listers,

A welding project of making my OE ? BUS exhaust work on the 914 went well for a years. Well, the latest boomy, flange leaky, revision has disappointed me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif) and i fitted/migged patches on the bench with it for a day. Mufflers are after pressure vessels of sorts (IMG:style_emoticons/default/welder.gif) I see. So unless continuing education credits toward a welding cert are possible? the next time this old friend comes off is maybe the last time.

I'm just looking to save a few bucks. possibly meet some local NNJ 914ers.
The up$ide down 75 1.8L bus is the current eater of rebuild money.

i'm in the market to buy a good used or new muffler. (Local if possible)1.7/1.8, 1973/1974. Stock, Bursch, Sebring style all fine. Engine is very stock. Notched driver side valence.

if someone has something they believe worthy let me know?

I could pick up, cash deal? Morris County, Northern NJ.

thanks for reading!
