It warmed up a little yesterday, so I worked on the /6 when I got home from work.
Replaced two fuel filters, and remounted the pump, that seems to have come a bit loose. I had hoped that replacing fuel filters would clear up the running issue. No luck. The car runs poorly - under load/acceleration it hiccups, spits, backfires. Once I get it to a cruising speed, it's not too horrible. The plug wires ore OEM, and only have a couple thousand miles on them. I checked the cap and rotor, and they looked okay. I'll try the new coil from Summit tonight. Any thoughts or suggestions? -Rusty |

Points. All it takes is small buildup on them and it will run like crap. Its the only thing you have checked/changed.
Replace them... or make Brad get on the stick for a electronic solution for the stock dizzy. B |
