(IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) So I'm committed to get this dream of mine on the road
Turn this rear half of a 914 into a car-b-q (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) In time to use at RedRock's Bar-B-Q What kept me from getting it done, funds (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Brutal year, but that won't stop this Stubbord Irishman so any of the gang in Colorado has materials I can use for the car-b-q please LMK also a hand would be very greatly appreciated! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) biggest issue is the propane gas plumbing I've a great start from a fellow 914'ner In HIS 914! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) Too kool. He brought a 2" tube bar,3 'long for the tongue Anybody have a 2" ball reciever? Input please, I'm smart enough to learn from other people mistakes! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smash.gif) |

Don't forget the hole in the bottom so the grease can drip out (kind of like a real 914 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ).
Are those hinges shot Kevin? I could get some Camp 914 trunk shocks headed that way if needed. |

The grease is protecting the trunk against rust!
Alum foil will have too do for now. Yes the trunk spring are on their last leg you have a set of shocks? maybe we can install them at Red Rock |

Looks like it'll burn some meat! Nice job. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_pokal.gif)
Picked up this nifty grill (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) I called it "Gint's grill" Thank-you for the $$$ donation, Mike! No sweat. Thank you Kevin. This thing lights up the garage! Are those hinges shot Kevin? I could get some Camp 914 trunk shocks headed that way if needed. I don't think they'd take the heat. Of course that white paint probably won't either. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Well don't close the trunk with the grille on because the shocks are on their way! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) This is making RRC so much more exciting! I can't wait to see this!!! |

Interested seeing this cooler Kev.
How about sealing the engine compartment and lining it with styrofoam and adding a petcock on the bottom to drain? Might be easier that way. |
