I am all for the CarBQ attending!
We need to talk to Kevin to see if he's up for it. We could also do a drive to include Boulder and check out your build before the Q at my house because I'm straight east on Hwy 7. What about it Dana? This could work out great!

That's fine by me! I will be around all day so anything works.

Is this a >Spouse< along event too???
......Just lemmeno where. to go or what to bring.

Bring whomever would like to come! The 3rd is my mommy's bday so I'm not sure if I'll be there or not. Maybe she'll get a car-b-q lunch for her bday. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
And we'll get the burgers and/or dogs and some chips. AND some beer, of course. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif) Bring a side or cookies or whatever if you feel like it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chowtime.gif)

P.S. I am in old town Longmont now, still pretty close to Gint's. If we need a back up, my place is "gathering friendly" too.

I like the grill idea either Gint's or my casa.
We can do this in two parts so everyone can participate regardless.

I don't care where we do it. I offered because I have tons of room and not as far out as Ferg's or Longmont. The new house is set back from the street more than my old house's entire lot size. Lots of parking and plenty of room for the CarBQ as well. And since I'm on call I'd be close to a computer so I could deal with anything that came up if I had to.

Gint's place sounds good, I will be around so people can stop by my place if they want to check out the Anklebiter before heading over to Gint's.
I will some growlers from Left Hand Brewery.

Just spit-ballin here...

I was thinking meet up somewhere, perhaps my house, noon or 1-ish at Dana's, maybe a run up into Ward/Nederland just for grins and then grillin at my joint around 4-ish. Since it's Sunday, call it a day around 7-ish give or take.

I say, Perfect

now reserve the canyon, so we don't have to deal with "Flatlanders"

and enjoy the colors!

I'm in. Hopefully several of us Southerners can carpool up. Was supposed to take the Shelby to High Plains for a car show at the enduro on the 3rd. but I was just there for a driving event yesterday. I'm loving that track more every time I'm on it. Has anyone driven the course in a 4? I know Brant has raced there several times but he has a 6 and it's a race car? I'm thinking a 914 would be a blast but probably a lot slow. There will be a big diff between a 440hp, 347cid and a tired little 2.0L.
Sorry for the questions and a semi hijack.

Hi Jon, I see plans are already in motion, and I don't know if you would be interested in this, but I've been invited by Al Lager (long time Porsche SCCA guy) to go to an open house Sat. at the shop where his repro Abarth tub is being built. They are up north, bit farther than Mike Ginter, so we could get you into that area as well. Want me to try and wrangle another invite? I can pick you up in my 914, it will remind you of your GT .. not!

Really looking forward meeting you all.
