I like the stock muffler. Doesn't have the rasp of the Bursch, but from a performance standpoint it's pretty good and not too loud.

There was a thread on here a few months back about checking the exhaust sealing by using some smoke and slight pressure to see where the smoke was excaping. Maybe a local muffler shop knows how to do this?

Though they're not inexpensive, the stock factory muffler is a very good design. Porsche didn't leave a lot of HP on the table when they designed these. I had experience with the Bursch and Ansa mufflers, but I think the original is the best all around muffler.

If it's a street car, you will eventually want the heat/defrosting features of the stock heat exchanger system as well.
