Can this kit be installed without welding ? My car is basically done and has fresh paint everywhere including the trunks. I really don't look forward to grinding off fresh paint and do welding. I looked at the install pics but couldn't figure out if rivets/bolts could replace welding. Anyone know ?

YES!!!! I had to do it after painting. The only thing you have to change is the body piston mount for the headlamp riser. I have photos if you want? Just let me know. Badm

Boo! I didn't get the PM...

For you Rob,
I'll resend.

And yes the best method I can see for installation is welding. The guide tubes for the cable. I could look at making a threaded backing plate, but you would have to drill to mount, as well as seal around it. (under it mostly).

My be an option that could be made to modify these. I need to get one in my car to figire it out.

This group buy will be closing out Saturday. The exchange rate on the Euro since I started the thread means with the customs fees I'm actually paying a few$ each kit.

I don't mind for a limited time, but Saturday will be the last day!
