- Had chris foley work on my car. He did some rust repair (engine shelf and driver's door catch), rewelded my clutch tube, put in stainless fuel lines.
- put on new PMB rear calipers (no more leak!) - changed my soft lines over from the SS braided ones - fresh brake fluid (of course) - touched up my undercoating - reinstalled my heat parts, including the blower - Lubed all my hinges, realigned my trunk, and a bunch of other small stuff - gave her a bath inside and out My to-do list is finally shrinking. Car is back on the road and running great! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) what have you done lately? What's on your to do list? |

My do-do list:
Fix my carbs so that they idle nicer then they currently do. I think it is linkage related. The fix may be moving to a bell crank linkage or getting Jakes cable system when it is online. Put a quieter muffler on. I have the muffler, I am waiting for the weather to get out of nice driving weather before I change it though. Fix the stupid header collector leak. Flange it. Seems like the only solution. Make a way to quiet down my carb intake. All my projects right now - save the weird idle - are all creature comforts. Zach |

To do:
-Continue to strip car getting it prepped for a trip to Ct. - Turn car over to Chris Foley at CFR to cure rust issues and add some wicked cool signature flares (IMG:style_emoticons/default/piratenanner.gif) - Start tearing drive train down and getting everything cleaned and ready - stock pile parts from group buys - live vicarously through other peoples builds and dream - debate on engine displacement (stupid budget) And all this happens over the next 12 months |

Pardon my ignorance, but where's the "Tail of the Dragon?" It is an 11 mile stretch of mountain road consisting of 318 turns. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif) Located near Vonore, TN (a bit south of Knoxville) Destination of many motorcycle and sports car clubs and enthusiasts. |
