Hey Jim,
Is part # E 039 905 205 A for the GA 0000000 > 0006755 in the 73 MY 914 2.0 then? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) IIRC the "AX" in the part number signifies a Porsche rebuilt or remanufactured item. If so, then it might help to add the original part no. as new for this part, as well as the pic(s). - Ooops, I see you've added or had the original parts no. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) - still need a pic if anyone has an NOS one or older shot. Good work with all these parts vault posts Bud! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Merry & Happy! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/santa_smiley.gif) Tom /////// |

PET doesn't list any engine numbers with the entry only that the part is a "distributor". But I would assume that this part number started with the first 2.0's so it would be your dizzy if your engine number is >>GA0 006 766 (and is original to the car).

Jim,
Slits replied on another forum for a guy looking for a dizzy that the ...205 was the -009 used on the early 2.0s (73), then ...205A was the -011 used on the later 74 2.0s (not sure about 75-76 2.0s) I'll copy his post here later, if I can find it again. |
