Hey Jim,

Is part # E 039 905 205 A for the GA 0000000 > 0006755 in the 73 MY 914 2.0 then? confused24.gif

IIRC the "AX" in the part number signifies a Porsche rebuilt or remanufactured item.
If so, then it might help to add the original part no. as new for this part, as well as the pic(s). -
Ooops, I see you've added or had the original parts no. blink.gif - still need a pic if anyone has an NOS one or older shot.

Good work with all these parts vault posts Bud! biggrin.gif

PET doesn't list any engine numbers with the entry only that the part is a "distributor". But I would assume that this part number started with the first 2.0's so it would be your dizzy if your engine number is >>GA0 006 766 (and is original to the car).

Jim,

Slits replied on another forum for a guy looking for a dizzy that the ...205 was the -009 used on the early 2.0s (73),
then ...205A was the -011 used on the later 74 2.0s (not sure about 75-76 2.0s)

I'll copy his post here later, if I can find it again.
