You get more excited seeing another 914 on the road than the latest new (fill in the blank) car.

hence the 'secret wave'........ (three fingers down) named: Jack Stand Wave.

You know you are addicted when..... A Tranny Clinic involving a Doctor gets you excited to hang out with men for two days! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

You think of things to laugh about that you read in this thread, while you daydream at work tomorrow planning your next 4 hours lying under that damnable 914, fondly knowing you will be breaking open new bleeding wounds on your hand, arms and head, and loving every minute of it.

And here's another one that I didn't even have to think hard about..........

You think it is perfectly normal to want to read all of these hilarious entries in this thread to your GF the next time you log into 914World at her house, and she rolls her eyes, viewed on the laptop you bought her to have access to 914World and all your Porsche pictures at her house when you are actually not in your garage doting on your 914(s).

Ohhhh sheeeet! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I've got almost all of these "ifs"!

well the BMer is two years old, but a "newer than the 914" 85, as is the 88 Westy - both parked outside for a rusty parts tub & a rust 914 to repair/resto, & part-n-shit everywhere! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Your radio is a priority in cold weather so you don't have to be bothered by the damn roof seals squeaking and other misc. noises.

If.... You have been collecting every 914 magazine article you can find for the last 23 years and putting them in a binder with a "custom" cover.

You just bought your first 914 and immediately start searching for a parts car instead of enjoying the honeymoon phase.

The first APP you ever bought for your Ipad was PDF reader, just so you could put the 914 manuals on it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Works awesome BTW.

We had a customer at GPR who used to tell us he would have the car running on "Monday". He was just never specific about what Monday.

You start looking for parts to fix your 914 and buy 3 914s instead.

You have to build 2 new storage sheds,
1 for household stuff that no longer fits in the garage, since it is full of 914 parts.
The second and larger shed just for 914 parts (that no longer fits in the garage).

You plan you family vacations around 914world events.
