There is some breaking news – aside from the $20.00 lunch time track tours and the PCNA autocross style test drives of new Porsches with instructors there is also an opportunity for people to get a lap with a Porsche Sport Driving instructor on the track during the Time Trial practice runs on Saturday and Sunday at speed

I forget about Zeke's! Good food and like David said, easy to get to. If anyone is interested, let's meet between 08:00 and 08:15 in the parking lot. Zeke's is located in a shopping center on the north/east corner of Vineyard and 4Th. If you're coming up the I 15, take the 10 west to the vineyard exit. Turn right (north) onto Vineyard, the next light will be 4Th. Go past the intersection and enter the parking lot where the Autozone is. See you guys Saturday morning!

Recko911,
There is a parking fee of $10.00, at least that what it was last time I was there.

Try Flo's Airport Cafe at the Chino Airport ... best biscuits & sausage gravy around.

I've been to Flo's many times. Biscuits and 40 wt gravy. Mmmm! Unless of course you are Vegan, then it's disgusting stuff. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/av-943.gif)

I've got to give a big applause to everyone that helped make this weekend possible. It was quite a lot of fun to feel and hear the porsche's screaming on the banked oval..

It was also doing the lunchtime track tour. Hopefully I didn't scare you too much on the first corner coming off the banking Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Here's a quick video from one of the tame laps. Dave, I think you have one of the best laps on your phone..

All in all, it was a TON of fun getting together with you guys for breakfast, and then heading out to the track.

LOL you took the same pictures I did! Little known fact, Bob's cars were built by Chris Hovey in Modesto who also did the install of my Raby turnkey, AC system, suspension, Amco console with wiring and other fabrication. Bob's 3.2 was at Chris' the same time my car was and I saw it transformed from a clean tub to the wide body /6 it is today in a very short period of time. For such custom fabrication of both our cars in short order it was impressive work.

Thanks Steve for the additional info. As far as I know these were the only 914 race cars there. There were several street 914's in the parking lot, but I wasn't parked near them to get any pictures of them. Most of the Porsche's there were the newer water cooled Porsches. 986, 996, 997, etc...
