Phoned local Discount Import Parts & they have a GEMO or NEMO (how ever the spelling!) for $14. The guy said it's from Italy or from Spain (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)
Heard the other one on the Bird is too long & costs $38...... Think it's OK to buy from the FLAPS? ........b |

I showed Mike (Mike's 914, local shop) the Gemo and he said that's the good one. I said that I heard the Terry cable, that some shop's sell for more, is suppost to be better and he said they suck.
I have put many Gemo cables in bugs for years and I've never heard of one breaking yet. |

Buy it, pull out the old one, and compare the two. If it doens't look like it will work, return it. I know that my FLAPS will take back damn near anything. I once bought a thermostat for my Escort, but it didn't quite fit. I totally destroyed it trying to get it out, but they still took it back.

Bruce, I used gemo's as well. I do recall there are 2 diameter's of cable. Seems like the bigger one would take more abuse. Take the old one with ya and compare the length and amount of threads.

Cool (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rocking nana.gif) can't beat a $14 part! especially for a 914. They even have a clutch alignment tool for $2. I'm in Fat City (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
