Again...thanks to all that helped me on this journey. It was a lot of work, a lot of fun, a lot of frustration at times but once I got it out of the driveway for the first time...hit some twisties...then the freeway...holy crap this thing is fast.
As you might have read...I did get it running a few weeks back but pretty much kept is on the lift looking for leaks, adjusting etc. Until today I only took it out in the driveway and once around the neighborhood. But, today was the day...I ran it for a good 45 minutes and all was fine. The temperature hovered just above 180 and I'm not running an external cooler. I hesitated to take it out earlier as I replaced all of my console gauges with new VDO cockpit gauges (pressure, temp and electrical). I didn't get my temp sender until yesterday. So, after a good 45 minutes of hot-rodding around milwaukee I pulled it into the driveway...checked for leaks (none) and snapped a few pics of the completed project (well, almost complete...I do have a set of GT flares, and 930 offset tires and rims just waiting!).
